Honestly, I’m surprised that I didn’t forget about this blog. If you’re reading this, THANK YOU. I really appreciate anyone who takes the time out of their day to visit this 5 year old, dusty, crusty blog that I was supposed to be consistently nurturing and updating at least weekly. OBViously, lots has happened since I last posted. I should have already mentioned that I’m now in the military (if I didn’t, my apologies and *surprise!*) and have been absolutely THRIVING in my work but not so much in the mental health/self love arena. But, we’ll take it one step at a time. For now, let me reintroduce myself.
Hello! I’m Mackenzie Walker. I’m currently 27, use she/her pronouns, and am currently a Yeoman in the United States Navy (currently at the rank of E-5 but who really cares, anyway). My passions, for the most part, have stayed the same — I love writing, listening to music, astrology, listening to podcasts, checking things off of my habit tracker, learning more about myself and others, and working toward helping those around me in any way that I can. I also really enjoy any time I get to spend both by myself and around those that I love. I am also in an *almost* two year relationship that I may not really talk about much here unless it’s about something that I feel will be constructive/beneficial to us and anyone who reads this.
I plan on using this blog to go a bit more in depth about topics that inspire me, specifically Mental Health, Self Care, Productivity, and POTENTIALLY my experience in the Military thus far. I will also be starting a YouTube where I’ll also be talking about similar topics and film dump some daily/weekly vlogs here and there (link here) so stay tuned for that as well.
